How to promote a new summer swimwear collection? By adding an awareness component and organizing a flashmob event in the center of the capital with girls of all body types, proudly wearing the swimsuit collection. Lisca named the campaign "#Proud to be me" and, in addition to promoting the new collection, also drew attention to the insecurity many women feel in regards to accepting and loving their bodies.
The event was also well received abroad, as many magazines in the EU wrote about it, and influencers, who are part of the Body Positivity movement or support it, shared posts on their social media. They also referred to the event and the message later.
Together with the client, we picked 18 girls. Each had a unique story that in one way or another defined her and initially made her feel insecure about her body.
It was a great privilege being a part of a project that shows women that they are perfect in their "imperfection". That we had the opportunity to meet and feel the energy of these girls, who were not comfortable in their own skin for a long time. But now they are here and strut proudly and without hesitation around Prešeren square in their swimsuits and share their message to the world: #proudtobeme!
